CORNERSTONE
GARDENS STILL GROWING!
Hello
from Cornerstone
Gardens. We are still here and still growing! Florida will have
to wait. We have out done ourselves this year. The greenhouses are
literally overflowing and we should not run out of your favorite
plant this year. We are still growing unusual varieties that no
one else grows. You know how it is, you get the seed catalog in
December and everything looks great! Check out our page of new varieties.
Looking forward to seeing all your friendly faces this year. Happy
Gardening!

My
Favorites for the Garden. . . .
Let me tell you about
some of my favorite things that we trialed in the garden last year.
Angelonia Serena and Butterfly Pentas were used in mixed planters
around the patio. They bloomed all summer with no trouble. Try them!
You and the butterflies will love them! The Gypsophila Gypsy is
wonderful in mixed containers. It adds an airy pink mist to combination
planters. If you have not tried any of our annual grasses please,
please try them. You won’t be disappointed. The three we have
tried and loved are Wind Dancer, Ruby Grass, and Savannah. I know
they look like plain ordinary grass in the pots when you buy them,
but the Ruby and Savannah will reward you with pink plumes, survive
the heat and drought, and will need very little care in your garden.
Wind Dancer will do the same with a blue hue. It is even half hardy
so it may just come back next year. Everyone loved Euphorbia Diamond
Frost last year, and we have grown double the amount this year.
Our
Proven Winner® baskets
are breathtaking this year!
